Just 20 or 30 years ago, cooking with cannabis was still completely forbidden and only done by people who watched Cheech and Chong. Everyone thought that the only good things about marijuana were that it made you high and laugh.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last few years, you probably already know that cooking with cannabis has a lot of benefits that have nothing to do with getting high.

There are a lot of vitamins, minerals, and fiber in cannabis leaves

To be more specific, cannabis has a lot of fiber. So, if something is missing from your diet, it could be the solution.

 Antioxidants are essential for our bodies because they protect us from damage caused by stress and other things, as well as from diseases of the blood vessels and cancer. They are also the only way our bodies can fight off "free radicals," highly reactive molecules that can damage our bodies over time.

Cannabis is full of antioxidants that our bodies need, whether it is raw or cooked. So, whether you want to put marijuana in brownies or natural juice leaves, you'll get what you need.

It's a better choice than smoking

People like to smoke weed, but smoking is not good. Inhaling hot smoke inflates the respiratory system, and it has been proven that people who smoke marijuana inhale more deeply and hold the smoke in their lungs for longer. Hence, they get four times as much tar as people who smoke cigarettes. Before you ask, yes, burning marijuana leaves makes tar.

Using marijuana in your cooking, on the other hand, doesn't have any of the same adverse effects as smoking and doesn't expose the lungs to harmful carcinogens. When you eat cooked marijuana, your body reacts differently than when you smoke it. 

It's a great way to ease the pain

As they've already discussed, people who eat marijuana often get a more robust and longer-lasting full-body high than those who smoke it, whose delights usually only last one to two hours.

So, if you smoke medical marijuana to relieve pain, cooking with it will help you find and get rid of the pain and give you more relief for a longer time.

It stops feeling sick

One of the main reasons why people are interested in medical marijuana is that it has been shown in clinical trials to make people feel less sick and help them eat. There have been a lot of studies on how well marijuana works to treat nausea and vomiting in both people and animals. Researchers at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, found in one study that manipulating the endocannabinoid system is a very effective way to control nausea and vomiting, whether caused by natural triggers or toxins like chemotherapy.


 It's almost impossible to smoke enough cannabinoids to reach a clinical level. But when they are made into very concentrated oils, you only need a drop or two to get the right amount. People usually don't eat the fat by itself since it tastes pretty bad, but they eat it with other foods, like cookies, brownies, vegetables, and toast.
